Most tech doesn’t surprise me, but the Lyric Speaker Box has delighted me. I love technology that is innovative, fits my home and does something I didn’t know that I needed. It reminds me of music players during the Y2K era. Does it need a separate amplifier? Assuming it works wirelessly with Spotify because it supports Spotify Connect.

Nice to have a small, stylish speaker in the living room that won’t take up space but can still fill the room with quality sound. The lyrics would go a long way to correcting all the errors in my interpretation and memory of the lyrics of songs I purport to know.

When I was a young girl in the 60’s I would hide under my bedspread with my transistor radio listening to music until getting caught. Music influences my mood; helps inspire me to get through daily walks faster; calms me during traffic jams; keeps me company on my life journey. Growing up with vinyl and moving through transistor radios, 8 tracks, cassettes, mp3’s explains why I misheard lyrics from songs like Rocket Man and Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap. I’m ready for the newest technology with great music and lyrics.
I would absolutely love one of these! I didn’t even know these existed before today and now I, like, NEED one. I tend to look up the lyrics to pretty much every single song I like, and I always have. I used to print them out when I was a kid for some reason, and I ended up with the lyrics to hundreds of songs. What a waste of paper!
Now I usually have lyrics open on Spotify, but then I have to keep switching between apps if I’m doing something else, and the Spotify lyrics are sometimes wrong anyway, so then I need to look the lyrics up again somewhere else. A Lyric Speaker Box would just make the process of learning my favorite songs much simpler! Thanks so much for the awesome opportunity!
